Welcome!
My name is Meredith Steinle and I am the creator and founder of Zen Well Energy. Two things I am extremely passionate about are helping people, and healing. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, an Energy Healer, Sound Healer, and a mother of two. I love learning new skills and incorporating them into my practice. I am dedicated to accomplishing my goals, not only for myself but for the well-being of my clients and the greater good of the community. I believe that giving people the opportunity to focus on self-care and wellness has the potential to change the world. The impact of one person’s healing journey can affect the energy and the people around them. When people start healing on a physical, emotion, mental, or spiritual level they raise their vibration to a higher frequency. The higher the frequency, the more positive energy radiates from that person. With enough positive energy, pure intention, and unconditional love, the opportunities for change are endless. If you want to help change the world, the easiest way is by first helping yourself!
More About Me
My passion for helping others started at a very young age and has driven me to become the person I am today. Some of my earliest memories include helping to take care of my mom after she had a minor surgery, or doing as much as a four-year-old could do to help! I saw my mom in need and all I wanted to do was help take care of her and make her feel better. From that moment on making people feel better in any capacity, also made me feel good. I have always considered myself to be a "helper". Some people are good at math or science, some people are good at fixing things, and then there are people like me who have a natural talent for helping others. Massage therapy has given me the opportunity to work in a field where I can help people simply by doing something that I love. In 2019 I decided to go back to school and pursue a career as a Massage Therapist. I previously graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences in 2015. My career plans changed when I got married a year after I graduated from college and then another year after that when I had my first child and became a stay-at-home mom. Eventually, I realized it was time to start thinking about career options again and through trial and error I decided to become a Massage Therapist. I was able to combine my passion for helping others, my love for massage, and my own newly discovered spiritual journey into this one career. Since starting my career in Massage Therapy, I have dedicated my practice to facilitate healing by helping my clients relax and find peace in everyday life. I enjoy providing a relaxation massage that incorporates different techniques with the use warm packs or warm stones and essential oils. My goal is to create a unique experience based on the specific needs of each client. Communicating these needs is crucial and providing an environment in which my clients feel comfortable, heard, and safe is very important to me.
From the beginning of my Massage Therapy journey I knew I wanted to learn more about Energy Healing. This was something we touched on in massage school, and I was very eager to learn more. Over the last six years I have taken different courses that taught me about Reiki, chakra balancing, aura cleansing, grounding, basic sound healing, and so much more. The world of Energy Healing is vast but the main principles of working with pure intentions and love remain the same. Energy Healing is not something I do, but rather something I facilitate for my clients. Everyone has the power to heal themselves, and receiving Energy Healing provides a space for people to be able to do just that. Receiving Energy Healing myself, changed my life. It has allowed to me to be able to heal emotional wounds, some of which I did not even realize I had been carrying with me for a long time. The impact has driven me to want to provide such an opportunity to others, because it is not only about healing emotionally, but on a physical and spiritual level as well. Through massage I have learned that everything is connected in the body. Just because one area hurts, doesn't mean that are is where the issue is located. A pulled muscle in one part of the body could be causing problems and pain in a different spot, this is known as referred pain. The same can be said about emotions and stress. They have the ability to affect the physical body just as much as they affect the mind. That is why I believe in a Holistic approach to healing. Combining multiple practices to achieve success, because one is not enough. Massage has many amazing benefits, but sometimes the root of the issue is not something that can be healed through physical touch. Energy Healing has the ability to facilitate healing on so many levels. Sound Healing is another way to alter your energetic field. Meditation is another great and powerful tool. Going to therapy or counseling can also make a difference. There are so many ways to start healing, but my point is to start somewhere, and if you're reading this, I think you have come to the right place!
When I am not working or babbling on about the benefits of healing, I can usually be found taking care of my kids. I am a mom of two beautiful children who take up most of my time and energy! Motherhood has been the most amazing and most challenging part of my life. One of the reasons I am so passionate about my own healing is so that I can be the best mom possible for my kids. Self-care is so underrated and often times as a mother I forget how important it is to take care of myself. I know that without self-care and healing, for me there would be no personal growth. By constantly working on becoming the best version of myself, I not only show myself love, but I provide the opportunity for my kids to grow up with a mom who is showing them that you can love yourself even when you may not appear to be perfect. I am not a perfect mother, which often times comes with a lot of guilt and shame, even though I know there is no such thing as a perfect parent. I try to learn from my own mistakes, fix the things that are not working, and do better next time. This means being honest with myself and usually healing something so I can show up as a better version of myself, for my kids. Being a mother has taught me so many things, and I don't think the learning will ever end. Which I believe is true for life in general. Every experience has the potential to be a learning experience. The good days, the bad days, the average days, all provide an opportunity to learn something. The choices we make create the lives we live, and I choose to learn and grow and heal as much as possible with the time I have on this earth. I also make the conscious choice to love myself and do things to make myself happy. I enjoy spending time outside, whether it be camping, going to the beach, or traveling to new places. My favorite place to be is in the mountains. I am a winter girl through and through. I also enjoy cooking and baking. I love reading as well and I'm excited to say that my daughter has started to become interested in reading too. My main goal in life right now is to enjoy my life as much as possible. I want to spend time with my kids and make core memories that they will have forever. I love being a mother, and I love what I do for work as well. I am building a life that I am proud to live each day, it is not without its flaws, but even so I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Happiness is not found in a destination, but within the journey.
